Recently Maldives cancelled the GMR group's Airport project which could have negative impact on India's image. India has urged Maldives to consider the case and not to cancel the contract before it legally gets exhausted. India is unable to get this project done, the foreign relations of India would be deeply impacted at the same time the foreign investors would keep away from India. Right now India is going soft on Maldives, but there hasn't been any positive response from Maldive's end. Do you think India should take a stronger stand against Maldives or Go slow about it?

Maldives is a nice tourist place know? Sorry I am having poor knowledge about all these. But one thing I can expect is India/Indians should be strong and stay first in all things.

Its not about Maldives being a tourist spot nor is it about India being ahead, in any case it should strive to be though. The issue is about credibility of India. If Indian companies' projects don't get clearance in other nations, then there is something wrong with Indian counterpart. Hence this would drive away foreign investors. Any sensible critiques please?
