Few days back i came across an interesting topic in Outlook magazine. According to the finding, over 2/3rds of the young MPs in lok sabha are because of their parents who are also MPs. this is something uncalled for... On one hand, we say we need more and more Indian youth to come into politics, where as we can see the harsh realities that most of the recruited youth come from a political background of high influence. How can a common youth dream of coming into politics when reality is so grim???

Thats the ugly truth but we have to face it. the politician are letting their children come in to politics just because their are in to politics. its like a business to those politician that is being inherited by their children. you can say that being an actor does not mean the children of an actors are born with the acting skills and same is the case with the politics. being in politics does not mean that their children will have the genes of politics behavior in them. This reduces the chance of young people who have the knowledge of politics but does not have any seat for them.

I agree. All roads lead to Corruption. I read the article you mentioned - The Princely State Of India in January issue of the Outlook Magazine. India was based on Democracy but we will soon get back to being under rule of selected few if this is not stopped.

You ask what can be done. First and foremost, why the common man is not in the race is not because he does not want to. It is because the common man who does not have a nametag like Gandhi, Pilot, Scindia or Reddy does not easily get a Nomination because he lacks the influence, the power of money.

India is experiencing a fresh wave of hope. The common man can try to be get ahead into politics soon if he too thinks about people like him and sticks to his ideals. With the right marketing strategy which again needs money that can be got by public support, the common man can actually be a larger part of the Government someday.

this is something which should not happen for a country to prosper and move ahead on the road to development. if this dynasty politics continues we cannot have fair competition and the deserving people cannot come into politics to do something better for the country. government must realize this and stop such activities at the earliest.
