Media is considered as one of the most powerful instruments of democracy. The main responsibility that has been vested upon Indian Media is to create awareness among the people by letting them know about the happenings in the nation as well as the World as a whole. However, Indian media today, seems to be misusing their power and is becoming corrupt day by day. They are biased towards a particular political party and portrays news in their favor. They do these solely for pecuniary gains. Indian Media has forgotten their ethics and duty.

Do you think Indian Media is corrupt?

To an extent, yes. Although it is undeniable fact that media across the world is corrupt, but lets talk about India! We are a country where people blindly trust the media without have a sense of thought that these media can give us manipulated news. All these political talks conducted by the media channels are not just for bringing interface between people and political leaders but the motives are far beyond what can be expected. Media not only manipulate the news, but also the minds of people!

Indian Media has extensively misused the power of freedom of speech and expression conferred upon them the Indian Constitution. Indian media has become corrupt and is influenced highly by political leaders and they tend to manipulate the news and mislead the people. Definitely, Media today, does not follow any ethics and norms. Indian media today has been transformed into lucrative business and this is also making Indian media more corrupt.

Yes, Indian media is becoming more and more corrupt day by day. The competition is growing as the number of various media is increasing and in order to remain in the competition they offer news which are not always important. Moreover, Indian media being a lucrative business is backed by the politicians and this is making Indian media even more corrupt.
