Students have to crack the toughest exams to get through the gates of these institutions. For IIT students must appear in the IITJEE {Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination} and similarly for IIM students have to appear for CAT {Career Aptitude Test}. After that the best students are only allowed a course in these institutions. They not only provide the best possible courses in their respective niche, but they also provide students with the best possible placements in the top ranked multinational companies. IIT and IIM are world class institutions because they have a great faculty to cater to the needs of their students. The students that go through the gates of these institutions no longer remain ordinary people. They are then polished and converted into gems. Other tan great faculty IIT and IIM provide great facilities like good classes, campus, library and a lot more. These are the major factors that make these institutions world class.
No wonder the Indian institutes are world class institutes as they offer open grounds in education where students can go to any heights to try out their innovative ideas. Ironically such liberty and assistance is not provided in the other institutes which is the sole reason why no innovations take place. I think irrespective of the brand of the institute, students should take part in creative and critical thinking inorder to innovate and contribute something significant to our indian society and the world in broader perspective.
