In India one can find huge number of Cliff Paintings and wall paintings in various historical monuments. Some of them are Ajanta caves where the Fresco paintings are preserved from 2nd century BC and are the oldest. Other places where such can be found are Ellora caves, Sittanavasal, and Brihadeeswarar temple in tamil nadu.
