    Indian food culture is one of the unique cultures of India that represents vivid flavors and colors of food. In India, food is perceived not only as a physical entity but it is being associated with a purposeful significance as well. Indian food is a perfect blend of spices, staple food and herbs. Different places and regions of India possess their unique methods and patterns of cooking and preparing different cuisines. people over here, do believe in the sacredness of food hence they give much importance to the factor of purity while preparing and serving the food. Dinning etiquettes play a very important role in the Indian food culture. There are numerous of cuisines/dishes belong to the different states of India. May it be Kashmiri, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Rajasthani, South Indian and Mughali cuisine, all the cuisines represent variety of flavor and presentations. Indian food culture is very much influenced by religious, geographical and cultural factors. Different states follow different cultures; (patterns, traditions, customs and ideologies) which surely influence the food culture of that particular place. with every different geographical area the climate conditions and soil quality does change which in a way facilitate a variety of different grains, vegetables, spices and fruits.since the ancient times, food has been given much importance and it has been firmly believed that the kind of food we do intake, does influence our thoughts and actions. thereby Vegetarianism has been the most prevalent trend of Indian food culture. Purity is much recommended in food culture. Indian food culture is full of variations and specialties and the surprising fact about it, is that it is still evolving and making itself more enhanced.
