The District Consumer Redressal Forum has imposed a fine of 4,000 Rupees on Air India for failing to provide ticket refund amount to an Indian woman. Pratibha Jain had registered a complaint in the Consumer Forum against the national carrier after the company had refused to pay her the refund for an air ticket, which she had cancelled. The Indian woman , Pratibha had booked 2 Air tickets of Air India flight from Delhi to Chicago in 2007 on May 11. But later pratibha cancelled one of them. When pratibha Jain demanded the refund for the same, Air India refused citing that she had not submitted requisite documents. The Indian woman then filed a complaint against the company on January 22, 2001, for ''bad services and negligence''.
