However, there are also leaders like Narendra Modi, who has selflessly contributed towards the development of the State of Gujarat, making it a developed and asafe state. India needs a leader like him to become a developed nation. On 13th September 2013, the main opposition party BJP has officially announced Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 election. He is one of the best candidates for this position as compared to other leaders of the nation. There are several reasons to prove that Narendra Modi is the best among the other candidates who have filed their nominations for the post. Moreover, the citizens of this nation as well want him to become the Prime Minister for a better India. He has already proved his capabilities : Narendra Modi has proved his capabilities in the State of Gujarat as a Chief Minister, making it one of the most developed states of the nation. He has served as a CM for consecutively 4 terms and has contributed immensely towards the State. It is because of him, the State of Gujarat is now one of the major states of India that is responsible for the development of the nation by contributing towards the progress and other aspect. He is the designer of the inexorable growth story of Gujarat. Since, he has proved his capabilities as a successful Chief Minister, he is now worth getting a chance to prove is capabilities as a Prime Minister and make India a developed nation. A Visionary Leader : Narendra Modi, the Prime Ministerial candidate of the main opposition party BJP is a visionary leader. He has not just dreamt of a developed state, but also has worked towards fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of his people. He has inspired the people of India to dream of a better and developed nation and promises to fulfill their dreams. He is also a practical dreamer, who dreams of converting Gujarat, and ultimately India as a developed and powerful nation. His dream for India takes in a widespreading area, which comprises protection of the environment, fosters agricultural research, infrastructure as the support of business and global investments. A true visionary leader, who works towards the betterment of the nation and India is in real need of such a leader at this point of time. Owing to this reason, he is one of the best candidates for the post of Prime Minister. A Nationalist Leader : The concept of nationalism states that “India first” and this concept is what is followed by this visionary leader. For Narendra Modi, “India comes First” and rest everything comes after that. It is many years after India’s Independence that such a leader is born and seeing the present condition of India, the nation is in dire need of such a leader. An honest Politician : Narendra Modi has contributed remarkably towards making the State of Gujarat a corruption free state and at the present time, it is hard to find an honest leader who works selflessly towards the growth and progress of the nation. India now requires honest, corruption free and nationalist leaders to lead the nation for its development and progress. Owing to these attributes possessed by Narendra Modi, he is the best Prime Ministerial candidate for the upcoming 2014 elections. Zero tolerance towards terrorism : Narendra Modi is serving as the Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat for consecutive 4 terms and since past 10 years there is no news related to terrorism pertaining to the state. He has made the state free from terror and is one of the safest states of India, where no kind of terrorism exists. Even the women folk are safe in the state and this because of this great leader’s zero tolerance towards terrorism. If such a leader becomes the Prime Minister of India, people of the nation can expect India to become free from terrorism as well as a safe nation, which is now just a dream for every Indian. Youth wants Narendra Modi : The Youth of India, which is considered to be future of the nation, wants Narendra Modi to be the Prime Minister as he has worked a lot towards the promotion and development of the whole group. He did not just give importance to the ideas of the youth but have implemented them in the state of Gujarat, which is very evident. Furthermore, he has promoted the youth and motivated them to contribute towards the nation’s progress and development through lectures as well as modern-day technology like social media sites. Youth are now looking forward for such a leader and Narendra Modi is the one, who has the complete support of the Indian Youth. A no nonsense leader : Narendra Modi is without any doubt a no nonsense leader. He is one such leader that India has produced who does not talk rubbish and makes false promises merely to get the support of the voters. None of his speeches contain any kind nonsense things and he just talks about the development of the nation and youth. He neither talks nor tolerates claptrap and this is seen in many media interviews which he left in the middle as he was not willing to answer the irrelevant questions that the media persons asked him. This is as well another reason, which makes him the ideal Prime Ministerial candidate. A political revolution : Narendra Modi has revolutionized Indian Politics by changing the complete political scenario in the state of Gujarat. He is the change that people believe in and this is not because of his speeches but it is because of his work and contribution towards the progress of Gujarat. He brought in a revolution in India politics, which was considered to a pit of dirt and corruption. Today, people compare every leader with him and aspects every leader to be like him and this proves that he is the best one among all leaders. In present time India needs a leader like him, who will work towards the development of the nation, hence, it can be said that Narendra Modi is the best Prime Ministerial candidate. No Dynasty politics : The power hungry politicians of India have polluted Indian Politics, making it entirely a dynasty politics, wherein, the power is transferred generation after generation. This kind of political attitude has put a big question mark to the concept of democracy of India and these politicians can do anything and everything just to remain in power and fill their personal treasuries. However, with Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister, there threat of dynasty politics will come to an end and the reasons behind this is that he has no one before or after him to create a dynasty and as he is single, he has no reasons to get involved in corruption to fill up his personal treasury. Secondly, being a Nationalist leader, for whom the nation is everything, he has dedicated his life towards the betterment of the nation and owing to these reasons it can be said that there is no threat of such politics if he becomes the Prime Minister.
