Yashwant Sonawane's death is a testimony to his life which he lived with courage, commitment and a strong dedication towards duty. His hometown, Nashik, and his adopted town Malegaon mourn a man, whose personal and public life was marked by caring and honesty. SALUTE YASHWANT SONAWANE I salute Additional District Collector Yashwant Sonawane who laid his life during raids to uncover illegal hoarding of kerosene and petrol. God give peace to his soul and give us so much of strength to fight against every wrong. A 1994-batch Maharashtra cadre officer, Sonawane was posted at Malegaon , Maharshtra since over a year. Yashwant Sonawane's colleagues remember him as very dedicated, and a thorough gentleman. A 1994 batch official from the state cadre, he had worked for 15 years before being promoted to the IAS-level rank of Additional Collector in Malegaon. Those did this brutal crime they are not Human being , and I want to say India government and congress Maharastra govt should take a official step for very very fast action for all culprit for a example punishment. if govt. Gazetted officer is not secure how a comman man or women can feel secure in the country. and I am calling all... the person from the society ready to eliminate these type of person from a healthy society. India Let's demand for immediate Justice and social beheading of the culprits!!
i honestly respect such officers who dedicate their lives to the service for india and our people. gov must look into such matters and bring immediate justice for the crime. people should also stand against such culprits who dare to kill such high cadre person for monetary gains. gov must build an elite force to combat such culprits.. its sad that our police men are not trained efficiently nor are they equipped with high quality weapons or armor..
