Today or tomorrow, like it or not, we need to address this issue. Supreme Court has already opinion that a common civil code will help the cause of national integration by removing the contradictions based on ideologies. Constructive dialogue is solicited on this issue, we hope learned people out there, people with vision, to participate actively with an open mind.

    Civil laws for all

The laws should be the same for all…weather he/she is of any caste, religion, sex, or anything. The laws that govern are applicable to all the citizens off the society. Also care must be taken that the higher political class too doesn’t get a chance to play with it. Media does a great job in this respect as nothing gets unnoticed.

    I support ..

    One Country
    One Law
    One Religion - nationalism !!

    Jai Hind !!

The law should always be free from any discrimination. Be it religion, caste, community, it should not be influenced by it. The civil uniform code will help Indian law system to work well and people should abide by it, in order to give their country a real boost on all fronts. The law system is the heart of any country and unless and until everybody respects it; it will not yield its true benefits for all.

India needs a uniform civil code.

Since law is equal for all, the uniform civil code will give more emphasis to the same concept. India today is suffering more with concept diversity. Diversity not only on the grounds of language, religion, culture etc. but also on the grounds of caste, gender and status. To eliminate this and give a direction of unity, the uniform civil code can really throw some light.

ensuring a uniform civil code in the country will change a lot of things which are quite uneven. especially in case of law so that the rich and politicians also face the same law with same strictness as the poor faces. there should be no reservation for any category whatsoever so as to ensure equality for all.

this really seems to be like a dream to me.. not only to me.. its a dream to the nation. i dont think the existing corrupt politicians would pass such uniform code so that people like them can join politics and make money. it is now left upto the people for making hard decision and come together and ask for such a code and uproot the corruption

Uniform Civil Code comes under The Directive Principles of State Policy contained in the Part IV of the Constitution which sets out the aims and objectives to be taken by the State in the governance of the country. Article 44 of the Indian Constitution provides for Uniform Civil Code. According to this article, it requires the State to secure the citizenz a Uniform Civil Code throughout the territory of India. "Sarla Mudgal vs Union Of India (1995)3 SCC 635", "Ms. Noor Saba Khatoon Vs Md. Quasim AIR 1997 SC 3280", "Danial latif & others vs Union Of India J.T. 2001 (8) SC 218". These are some of the historic cases where judgements were given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India inorder to establish Uniform Civil Code in India. It is just the begining not the end. Uniform Civil Code it yet to be completly established throughout all the territories in India.

Uniform Civil Code needs to be implemented at the earliest. It will help in bringing lot of changes in the society and help in removing inequality that still exist. By implementation of uniform civil code, the personal laws can also be reformed and equality can be established among all and there will be no discrimination on the basis of personal laws.

India definitely needs Uniform Civil Code. Uniform Civil Code means having same set of secular laws for every citizen. It has been observed that India does not have Uniform Civil Code in terms of personal laws. The personal law of both Hindus and Muslims are different which is creating injustice in the society and is against the fundamental right of right to equality. By establishing uniform civil code, India will in true sense become a secular and democratic nation.

Uniform civil code is the only way to bring equality which is guaranteed by our Constitution. Uniform Civil Code should be established not only in terms of personal law but in every way. It will help the nation to maintain Secularism which is the most unique feature of Indian Constitution.Uniform Civil Code has been established only in providing maintenance to a divorced wife but it should be established in every law.
