    India is a country which is bestowed with abundance of natural resources and minerals. Resources in India can be classified into renewable, flow and non-renewable resources. Renewable resources chiefly include living sources like forests, as well as non-living sources such as soil and water. The fundamental feature of renewable resources their sustainability. India is specially rich in iron ore, bauxite, copper ore and coal. Other than these four minerals, India is rich in land resource, water resource, forest resource as well as other minerals. India also produces crude oil and natural gas and this makes India one of the richest country in terms of natural resources.

    India is one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources although the nation lacks proper utilization of these resources. Almost every mineral can be found in various regions of the country. These natural resources especially coal contributes a lot to the economy of the country. As many rivers flows in the country, it is also rich in water resources and many states are dependent on water resources to generate income.

    India is a land that has been bestowed by God with immense natural resource. Until the 18th century, India was the sole nation where diamond was found. India is rich in coal and other minerals. India is a producer of crude oil and natural gases after the Middle East countries. India is also rich in forest resources that includes both flora and fauna. Overall, India is one of the richest nations in terms of natural resources.
