The culture of india as we all know is diverse and people are completely different and follow various traditions and culture while living under one nation. Indian culture is a rich and diverse and as a result unique in its own way. Even though, Indian people have accepted modern means of living, improved life style, people’s beliefs and values remain unchanged. On the opposite side, western culture is an advanced culture because of ideas and values. N0 matter how much people adapt themselves to the modern culture they will never forget their traditional values which is incited inside them.

People have different opinions on this topic, however i feel indian culture mixed with the western culture could be the best. We can include the best parts of both the cultures and adopt them. There are flaws in both the cultures and no culture can be termed as perfect. And yes we should not let go off our traditional values on the way of adopting western culture.

I think we have too wonderful a culture to need influence from other cultures.By culture I do not mean the myths and Superstitious believes like widow isolation, child marriage etc.All this should be removed and Western influence helps to free India from all these. However we should also remember our customs and traditions. Its our identity. We should not let the western culture overwhelm us and take us back to the ancient times of slavery to western countries. We should maintain our individuality.

indian culture is very different from the western culture.Indian culture is significant in its own way.The various ethnic festivals, the diversity and the various languages makes it distinct from the western culture.

Indian Culture has a beauty of its own. It is diverse as every state in India has their own culture but the common factor is that every culture provides warmth, love, affection and a sense of belongingness. This is what distinguishes Indian Culture from Western Culture. The people of the West are today getting more attracted to Indian Culture and is witnessed to have embraced it to a great extent. Western Culture has today to a great extent influenced the people of India and this is solely because of Globalization and modernization. However, even with its influence, the people of India will never forget their culture, traditions and values which are deep-rooted withing them.

The culture of India has been formed by its age old history, distinctive geography, diverse demographics and the amalgamation of customs, traditions and ideas from its ancient heritages, which were formed during the Indus Valley Civilization and developed more during the Vedic age, rise and decline of Buddhism, Golden age, Muslim conquests and European colonization. India's great diversity of religious practices, languages, customs, and traditions are examples of this unique blending over ages. The diverse religions and traditions of India that were formed by these mergers have influenced other parts of the world too. Whereas the Western Culture is a body of knowledge resulting from reason. It is one of the most advanced cultures for the reason that its ideas and values promote the growth and sustainment of highly developed civilization.

Indian culture is one of the oldest culture which is filled with moral values, traditions, customs and beliefs. Whereas, western culture is modern way of living. Indian culture and Western culture differ with each other in several aspects such as etiquette, code of conduct, family as well as social life. Western culture is based on modern philosophies of life whereas Indian culture is based on the age-old customary and traditional values.

There are merits and demerits of both Indian Culture and western culture and both are good in their own way. Indian culture based on traditional values and beliefs whereas the Western culture is based on modern philosophies. Indian culture values family system of life but western culture differs from this aspect. Indian culture celebrates more festivals based on religious values but this is not there in the western culture.
