Primary education comprises of the first five years of education that is also known as the period of elementary education. During this time the child's mind is highly active and best suitable to grasp new/any kind of knowledge and information. Usually at this time the children are taught mainly about the other subjects like English, Hindi, environment, basic atmosphere, manners and culture of the country. But what a wonderful idea it would be to introduce the children with the political knowledge of our country! In my opinion, this is the right age to acknowledge the children about the great freedom fighters, and leaders because of whom we are actually able to live in a free nation. Children should be taught about the political history of the country if not in too much of detail, then at least they should be known that what is the political history of their nation. It surely wouldn't be like imposing too much of the things on the child's mind, but it will definitely sow a seed of love and patriotism in their hearts for the country. However, political knowledge is administered to the children in the schools, but that too in the later standards when studying about political history seems to be a boring task for the students. Thus introducing the children of primary education with the political knowledge of the country is quite a new idea that can be experimented very well.
