Indian Air Force is planning to set up an Engineering College in Bangalore for the prospects it holds. It has been inspired by the Army's College for Military Engineering in Pune which creates engineers for Indian Military. Since Bangalore has various Engineering colleges offering specializations in Aviation Engineering and Space Engineering, access to students as well as teaching faculty becomes easy. Moreover, the institutes like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and NAL which manufactures most of the equipment and air force units can provide a live-interface to the aspiring students to learn. Don't you think this move by IAF would make a great difference?
