Wedding is a lavish occasion of happiness, joy, and togetherness where not only two people get tied in a sacred knot but there are two families and many other people (family, relatives, and friends) get acquainted with each other. So many traditions and beautiful rituals are followed during Indian weddings which make them unique and splendid. I love Indian weddings, in every state of the country the traditions and rituals are different. I sometimes wonder how wonderful it would be to attend the wedding of each of the states. There are varied kinds of weddings; Hindu wedding, Kashmiri Wedding, Bengali Wedding, Guajarati Wedding, Tamil wedding and many more. This is completely amazing to know that each kind of wedding has its own unique features and patterns to follow. The cuisines, trousseau, attires, and celebration everything is just so remarkable. I have not seen such vividness in any other wedding of any other country. In the western countries the pattern and culture of wedding is predetermined and simple but comparatively our Indian weddings are full of good noise, vibrancy, colours, and enjoyment. People begin to plan and act so prior to the Indian weddings, even a kid seems to be so excited for the marriage ceremony because the celebration is accompanied with dance, partying, varied delicacies, sweets and so much of fun. I am proud that I am born in India and have got the chance to know about vivid weddings in its culture.
