Human Rights is an ancient concept of natural rights based on natural laws. Human Right is an ancient concept of natural rights based on natural laws. The term “human rights” is of new derivation originated from international charters and conventions specially in the Post Second World War. Nevertheless, it has been recognized in the ancient time by every nation and religion. These rights can even be found in the Vedas. However, only in 1993, the Human Rights Act came into force in India.

Human Right is an inherent right or rather a natural right of every human being. If it is a natural and inherent right, then what is the necessity to be enacted? If it is enacted then why so late? Human Rights Laws are merely just confined within the books and words of mouth and nothing has been actually done to protect Human Rights as such. How far is the act justifiable?

If Human right is an inherent and natural right than why does it require an act at all? If an act has been made, then why so late? I don't think the Human Rights Act, 1993 has been able to fulfill its objectives of providing justice to people on the ground of Human Right. People and NGO's should work towards justifying the act and help it achieve its objectives.
