It is very well said in relation to India that in this country the rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poorer...How does one deal with this inceasing economic disparity? what effect will it bring about on the development of the nation?
The great Indian divide This disparity between the rich and the poor can be regaded as the great Inidan divide. Where our politicians and ministers as Manmohan Singh, P.Chidamburam..keep anouncing that the GDP of the country around 9% and that India is growing at a high pace. Ambani brothers are worth miions. They actually are living on false fancies. If this is the real truth then, why India still false in the poor nation's bracket. Its because the gap between the rich and poor is ever increasing. These statistice display the negligence played to the harsh realities. I hope the illusion soon breaks in the eyes of the governing bodies of the country and they work towards, eliminating this gap.
On economic and stock charts Indian economy is gaining fast, but the real image is not as rosy as it appears. There are still many Indians that are living in devastating state and they need true economic reform to change their life for better. Many of the core Indian sectors of economy are ignored by the government and this is somewhere related to this disparity. Current India is too much dependent on other nations and imports that the Indian endowments are slowly vanishing. So till the time there are better economic models that can deal crisis well; till the time every citizen of India is having a better living, until population is under control and illiteracy vanishes, the economic disparity will prevail.
i think the main reason for economic disparity is the large gap which prevails between the rich and the poor. the gap extends far beyond being filled easily. the government is not doing much on its end to acknowledge this gap and try to fill it. things are not going on even keel which is resulting in disparities and this is one of the reason why there is no real development in economic terms.
the economic disparities can only be removed with the intervention of government because it is upto it to make policies for middle class and poor people. the poorer class is completely being ignored by the government. they are still living in a place of ignorance and illusion who blindly believe these politicians and go on voting the wrong governments. there are only assurances made to develop the rural but nothing is done on it.
i think all india needs to do is now start concentrating on sectors which are still lying underdeveloped. we have rural areas where development is meager and people are still living in dark. for education, to employment and infrastructure development. everything needs a revival and improvement.
It is an undeniable fact that economic disparities do exist in our nation. But this is not uncommon for a growing nation like India where the government alone cannot cater the needs of all sectors at once. There are ought to be some priorities in the list and the top ones to be addressed first. It is just that economists and the government are unable to choose the right priorities for our nation which is causing these economical imbalances.
Economic disparity can be handled by the government by introducing new policies for those people who are unable to grow even if they want to develop themselves i the economic field they are debarred by the people or officials around them. It is a fact that govt alone cannot handle this and need people's support but at least to remove the economic disparity govt can make some policies useful for people.
