Many may want to setup a broadband connection in your personal computer or laptop. Here are some of the easy ways to setup a connection after subscribing to a broadband service provider. All you need to do is follow these steps: First step: Click the start icon in your menu bar and then select the control panel. After that click on the network and connection option and then click on network connection. Second step: There are several options that will come up once you click on the network connection. Go to network task and select create a new connection. Third step: After selecting create a new connection, New Connection Wizard window will open. All you need to do is click on next and then Network Connection Type option will come up, choose Connect to the Internet then click Next. Fourth step: After the third step is completed, there will appear another option, Internet Connection and under this there are two options for broadband. 1. For DSL connection, choose the second option (Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password) and click on Next On the ISP Name field, type preferred name for Internet connection and click Next. On the Connection Availability window, choose My use only and click on Next. Enter the account Username and Password on the Internet Account Information window and click Next. Click on the Finish option. 2. For Cable modem connection, choose the third option (Connect using a broadband connection that is always on). Click Next and click Finish. After all these steps are done, the broadband connection is set-up and ready to use.
