How to deal with depression?

    Depression is a major issue of concern as it has been observed that many people, especially youth go through severe depression. There are various reasons that can lead to depression. Some of the causes are: It may be due to biological change in the body, environmental change, problem in the thyroid glands, some medicines, lack of friends etc. Can you suggest how to deal with depression?

    Today, many people undergo depression but it is a serious issue if it affects the ability to function. It can be dealt by exercising to work off tension, meditating to clear the mental impurities of the day, changing the routine aspects of your life, developing a support system, and finding a healthy way to release pent up emotions. If the problem still persist it is important to consult a doctor and take proper counseling.

    Depression is one of the major cause of suicide and this needs to be dealt with seriously. It is advisable to consult a psychiatrist or any psychologist for counseling even if a small symptom of depression is seen. Consequences of depression are very grave so it needs to be dealt with at the right time. Proper counseling can cure depression if it is in the starting state but if it has taken over the ability to function, anti-depressant drugs are available which can be taken under medical supervision.

    Depression is an major issue now a day. Try to engage with social activities even if you don’t like it.
    Get some counseling with relevant doctor.
    Think positive and keep negative thought out.
    Sleep 8 hours a day.
    It will helps you to come out of depression.

    Depression is general caused due to stress of day-to-day life, continuous health issues, inter-personal relationship issues etc. The best way to deal with depression is meditation. Meditation is a great way of relaxation as well as rejuvenates both body and mind mind and it is the best way to remain healthy. Timely vacation is another great way to deal with depression as it helps in relaxation and is also a great stress buster.
