Broadband connection is quite common and many people today prefer using it because of its high-speed connectivity. There are five types of broadband connections viz. cable, ADSL, SDSL, fiber to the premises, and broadband wireless and each of these provide high-speed. Each of these types of connection needs service from ISP. Here are some simple steps for creating a broadband connection in Windows 7.

    1. Select Set Up a Connection or Network which is available in the Set Up a Connection or Network wizard.

    2. Select the Connect option and then click on the Next button.

    3. Select the Create a New Connection.

    4. It will show all the detected devices connected to the computer. The Broadband(PPPoE) ADSL will be shown and then select the Broadband option and then proceed to the next step.

    5. Put the Username and Password as provided by the ISP and then select the Connect option and the new broadband connection is created and ready to use.
