Notebook has taken the place of laptops for its light weight and mobility. It is now more preferred than laptops and comes with good features. The price of notebooks have dropped to a great extent and has give a good competition to desktops. The important parameters that the buyer should keep in mind while buying a notebook are listed here.

    1. Screen size: It is one of the most important factors that should be looked for before buying a notebook. It should be atleast 17 inches.

    2. Processor: Processor is also very important for the notebook runs on it. Turion 64 X2 or a Pentium-M is a good option but Core2duo is the best.

    3. Battery Life: It is most important criteria of choosing a notebook. 9 cell battery is the best option.

    4. Graphic Card: X200, and all cards up above is better and gives a great performance.

    5. Connectivity: Another important factor that needs to be looked for. Wi-Fi connectivity, in-built Bluetooth and USB ports should be there.

    6. RAM: The RAM should be of minimum 512MB however today it comes with more than 2 GB RAM.

    7. HDD: Always look for notebooks having large hard disk capacity and do not compromise with a smaller one.
