A dentist is a medical professional who treats and prevents diseases related to teeth, gums and oral cavity. In order to become a dentist, one has to complete 10+1 and 10+2 in Biology, chemistry and physics. Later a pre-medical entrance exam has to be cleared in order to get a seat in a dental college. In dental college one has to complete Bachelors of Dental Sciences (BDS) from a registered college to become a dentist.
