I have heard few days back that the tsunami has made Japan very weak financially and in regard of nuclear power. How far does it true?

well nuclear power is something great which boosts the economy as self sufficiency in energy is something which japan once had and so it could boost its economy so high. now it would have to cut down various operations and there would inflation and every one would be in trouble. i think world should come together to help japan

Yes, the economy is badly hit for the very reason that energy is something required for a country to flourish. Ironically only one out of 54 nuclear power plants of japan is currently functional. And this does have global implications on individual economies, including that of India.
