The government is setting up a internet scanning agency which would scan all the Emails, Tweets, Status updates, and even drafts! The agency would be called as National Cyber Coordination Centre (NCCC) which would scan for proactive data/information and which may be perceived as a possible threat against the security.

Sounds a bad news to me! Well, this way of screening the data could have drastic implications. People would have their privacy compromised and moreover we live in India where we have right to speech. If people are using derogatory remarks, it is for some reason and government should put in some efforts to correct those causes of derogatory remarks instead of putting restrictions on citizens of India. Agree?

To an extent this is a good way of keeping in track with the online world. This would let the government know of any threat that might pop up from the online world. But some times this might turn out to be very indulging for many people, since it would scan emails, tweets, updates in soial networking sites which might be private for many of them.
