Globalization is a state in which a country advances its dimensions and relationships with the other neighboring and advanced countries. There is a constant exchange of services, techniques, ideas and resources between the countries under the roof of globalization. India is also getting globalized and day by day making a pathway for improvements and advancements. But advancements always arrive with some conditions which leave an impact on the weaker sections. And here in India, Globalization has set many challenges in front the women's section in order to realize their empowerment. However, there are already have many policies and programs being drafted in order to empower the Indian women economically and to safeguard their Rights in the working field. Still the studies done by the department of Women and Child Development asserted that there is a constant need to improve and in fact required to re-frame the present policies which are meant to provide economic security to the Indian women. As a result of Globalization economic and employment challenges have been drastically aroused, there are frequently increasing economic disparities, gender inequality and unequal distribution of opportunities and wages faced by the Indian women. Globalization has set very high standards for availing any employment opportunity that somewhere ceases the Indian women to acquire higher designations very easily. The working atmosphere particularly in the multi-national companies/organizations has become quite unsafe and challenging for the Indian women. The requirements for the jobs have become very sophisticated, varied kinds of skills are demanded, especially the women who belong to the rural and less developed areas feel hesitant even to aspire for such higher graded employment. Thus such strategies should be framed which lessen the impact of the challenges of globalization for the Indian women and which also help them to get empowered; socially and economically.
