When we talk of educating the children; Reading is something that plays a very important role in improving the quality of perceiving, thinking and apprehending the things. Reading is certainly a useful process for the children because of its various advantages. If your child/children take interest in reading nothing is more noteworthy, then it is the time to encourage your child and to motivate him for imbibing the habit of reading in the daily life. Books are the true source of knowledge and information. A child gets to learn so many new things and moreover reading immensely help the mind of the child in understanding the basic ideologies and practices of the human race. Through the way of illustration/pictorial books; a child tends to learn very fast. Especially in the elementary education if the parents introduce their child with pictorial books, then it helps the child in memorizing the facts and information much easily. Because the human mind memorizes pictures more easily than the descriptive part. In the later stage of childhood, parents should motivate the child to read informative books that would also help him in grasping the curriculum studies in a better way. Reading improves memory and apprehensive capability, and besides this reading also enhances one's vocabulary that helps to improve the writing skills as well. Reading books or any good book especially some biography of great personalities, thinkers and philosophers at the bedtime is a fantastic idea that would help the child to inculcate high values and inspiration in their life.
