Gender inequality has been rapidly increasing in our Indian society, even though gender equality had always been given tremendous importance in the constitution of India but ironically it was always present on the papers only. So much of gender biased discrimination and inequalities prevailing in the present society. In fact they never finished for ages. Girls are still perceived as a burden for the parents and the family while a boy has always been considered to be the future and an asset of the family. Parents feel privileged in having a boy/son but cannot accept to have a girl/daughter. In the remote, villages and underdeveloped areas of Indian society there are still many places where the girl child is considered as a taboo for the family. Just because of these menial perceptions of the people, practices like female foeticide is catching a rapid pace. Usually in every next family the girls are found to be discriminated and being treated unwisely.

Their upbringing and education is never taken with much seriousness. Even also they are condemned of their rights, facilities and privileges. They are supposed to be dependent and weaker identities who need sympathy and mercy. Even in concern of their roles they are considered to be delicate and not suitable for masculine jobs. They are best suited for reproduction of babies and caretakers of the family. These gender discrimination only, have not let the Indian Women to rise and grow up till now. What are your suggestions to abolish such gender biased inequalities in our society?
