India has always got its identity associated with agriculture. India has now rolling on the path of globalization, where the major reform that are taking place are in areas of technology, nuclear power and trading, but somewhere this development is not helping Indian agriculture blossom. Trading in more on import side rather than export and hence, our agricultural section in becoming weak, which was ones a ruling area.

Development and change are mantra of life, but if we get detached to our root, we would not be able to survive for long and for India, agriculture is its root.

How should we help our agriculture area to flourish once again?

Farmer's life should be developed first

India is an Agriculture based country. White and green Revolutions have increased the productivity of this sector but this is a sorry fact that a life of a farmer in our country has not developed. The farmer who makes every Indian eat is himself leading a below poverty line life. That's really not justified. Something should be done about it. What do others have to say about it

indian agriculture is vast spread area wise but then the production capacity and reaping capacity is too low. india relies on manual labor and old techniques in agriculture section. until and unless india deploys advanced techniques and instrumentation for agriculture, the future remains vague.

well i have nothing to say on the future of indian agriculture for it can be very great and the best in the world. because india has got lots of land that can be used up for agriculture. but the techiques and methods of agriculture are very old and obsolete which are being followed. we need more implementation of latest agricultural techniques with latest machinery.

Indian agriculture future in no doubt great but what about the old techniques that farmers are still using. the work that they can finish in few minutes usually takes several hours. It is the Indian government that needs to make changes in the way old techniques used by the farmers to make their work easy hence the production will be fast and high.

optimal utilization of existing resources is something we should have motto.. the domestic needs of india are more.. if agriculture is developed well, not only can we lower the food prices, but also generate income by exporting eatables. thus it would add a good boost to the indian economy. government must seriously take up development of agricultural section.

The huge portion of Indian government revenue is covered by the indian agriculture. Agriculture is teh main occupation that people follow in india. The export of indian food stuff to other countries gather a huge amount for indian government. the section of indian agriculture is indeed a significant one for the indian government.

India is an agro based nation but due to modernization, people do not get into the agriculture sector. However, India still tops the list in tea, cashew nuts, black pepper, turmeric, coconut and ginger production and ranks 2nd in rice, sugar, wheat etc. production. This proves that India still generates good amount of revenue from the agricultural section and by improving the condition of the farmers and by providing them better amenities, the agriculture sector of India will flourish.

The economy of India is dependent of the agriculture sector as it is an agro-based nation and the reason behind it is that India has the most perfect climatic condition for cultivation of various products owing to its diversities. However, the future of Agriculture is bright only if it is given due importance and with implementation of modern techniques of cultivation.

The future of Indian Agriculture can be bright if government takes measure to improve the sector. Being an agro-based nation, the Government should give priority in improving the methods and technology involved in it. By doing this, there will not only be a boost in the production but there will also be growth in the economy of the nation.
