Values and mannerism in the youth are certainly getting modified. The youth customizes the values according to their own choices and convenience and they find nothing wrong with it. But customizing the values and manners that our great Indian culture has bestowed to us is somewhere a big disturbance to it, created by the human race. The aesthetic value of those Indian values and manners seems to have been lost nowadays. Manners and values of greeting and regarding others are getting diminished day by day. The youth feels shame and awkwardness in touching the feet of their elders and teachers, they have shortened the significant greeting references, they feel saying ‘Namaste’ shows backwardness whereas English slangs ‘wassup’ makes them look cool and updated as per the prevalent trends. But if the youth only, will behave like this, and will show so much of unconcern and indifference towards their own cultural values and manners then what can we expect from the next upcoming generation that would succeed this youth. Youth should pay patronage towards their cultural values that help them to become humble and wise in life instead of completely forgetting their significance in their life. do you feel the same?
