There are number of Universities in India, Central, State, Private and Deemed. However students have apprehension over the quality of education in these universities, which is why the many students prefer going abroad to study in foreign universities. Some argue that Indian universities are on par with foreign universities except for the infrastructure. What do you think?

Indian Universities are no less than foreign universities in terms of education quality. However, the major problem with Indian Universities is that they do not provide job opportunities to students and this is why most students prefer going to abroad for higher education rather than studying in Indian universities. Moreover, the infrastructure issue with Indian Universities cannot be ignored.

I agree with you that foreign universities are more preferred today that Indian universities is because of better campus job opportunities. Indian Universities are definitely on par with foreign universities in terms of the quality of education but it lacks in lots of aspects and this is the reason why today most of the students prefer foreign universities over Indian universities for higher education.

There has always been many debates and comparisons between Indian Universities and foreign universities. In my opinion, Foreign Universities are better in terms of infrastructure, quality of education, job opportunities, better placement, better educational facilities etc, which Indian Universities actually lack. These are the reason that attract the Indian students to choose foreign universities for higher education than Indian Universities.

I think you should list down those aspects which you feel are the reason why students prefer foreign universities over Indian universities so that we get a clear picture of why students really think they should opt for foreign universities. And trust me, if education of Indian Universities (education includes the overall performance of the universities and teaching staff and what students gain) were any near to Foreign universities, students would never go abroad. Atleast the students who are studying in Indian Universities would excel, wouldn't they?

Students opting for Indian Universities do excel but the major problem with Indian Universities is the lack of modern teaching techniques as well as the lack of job opportunities that it provides. There is another reason that there are limited courses that are offered by Indian Universities, which limits and restricts job opportunities as compared to Foreign universities. However, in terms of quality of education, Indian Universities are as good as foreign Universities.

  7. I do think now-a-days foreign universities are of more importance as compared to Indian. To a greater extent international education has always been beneficial for the students. Students have variety of options for choosing subjects for higher education in abroad universities. For instance, all international universities have more number of courses part time or full time so that student can choose as per their interest and available time. Studying in abroad makes them more independent and responsible. As a part of foreign culture, they are also involved in some kind of part time jobs along with studies so that they cannot depend on their parents for their basic needs. This help in understanding them a value of money at a younger age.

Although Indian education has its own significance, but it needs to be improved in a manner such that even Indian parents won't fell like sending their children abroad for higher education.
