All the food vendors across the country are supposed to get registered with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. According to the new rules, all the food operating vendors from hotels to dhabas and even who transport food need to get registered/seek license from the authority. Those whose investment is below 12 lakhs need to get registered and those who are above 12 lakhs will need to get license for operation. The vendors would be given grades based on cleanliness and level of hygiene they maintain. I think would drastically improve the food quality available outside. What are your views on this?

Are the people selling food and tea from moveable stalls and tiny huts qualify?

As for the rest I cannot help seeing new reasons for taking bribes on part of babus.
