Indian youth is intensely influenced by the western ways of dressings, and this liking has gone to such an extent that the Indian attires and ways of dressing; seem to be outdated to them. The majority of the youth feels inferior in getting dressed in Indian/traditional attires as they feel that it will make them look dull and nether. Whereas they find the western attires as most trendy and fashionable because they make them look fabulous and modernized. The youth sticks to the cosmetic dazzle of these western dressing that leads them to expose their bodies as much as possible. And this exposure of the body is supposed to be a symbol of boldness and modernity among the youth. There is nothing wrong in getting dressed in western attires but it is definitely wrong to demean our own Indian dressing. Our Indian culture bestows such an elegant and beautiful dressing style that maintains a balance of beauty and dignity. We believe in embracing the beauty and not exposing it. Indian attires are just awesome and make one, looks graceful and different and moreover there is a huge variety of dressing styles as well as attires in the Indian culture. One should be proud of this vivid Indian dressings instead of feeling shame for it. What are your views about this?
