    -More than 65% of working women earn less then 2.5lac annually.

    -Only 1 in 3 working women gets paid sick leaves. Most of the lowest paid have no working sick leave at all.

    -Majority of women work to support their families

    -Educating women is the key to economic advancement. A women with higher professional degree tends to earn better.

    -Despite all the changes and advancement, equal pay is still an issue.:(

    * Three in Five workers at or below minimum working age are women

    *Two in Five working women are professionally qualified

    *Seven in Ten married working women work for more than forty hours in a week

    *One in Two working women provide half or more of the total household income

    *Considering the current scenario women doing doing equal amount of work as their male counterparts will not be able to get equal pay untill 2050
