There are around 6,88,751 registered sex workers in India and 3,79,000 particularly in Delhi and the population of the Transgenders has been figured at 14 lakh in numbers. The kind of life conditions, these both groups of people are living into being seriously pathetic. There has not been any kind attention given to these groups of the society in fact these groups are not even counted as the citizens of the society. People see them with much of a degraded vision and perceptions. There are hardly any special provisions and facilities given to these groups by the Human Welfare system of the country. Their accommodations are in worse conditions and moreover temporary. They have to live in the bastis and slum areas of the city where the sanitation and hygiene conditions are miserable. There are no good or at least some of the facilities of education for their children and above all their children have to face a lot of social discrimination and prejudices. Their livelihood is the biggest struggle for them and all above that these groups of people are central to the social differences. Society treats them differently as if they are not the part of the same. But here the society and its people need to understand the situation and to accept the reality of bluff that life and destiny has played with these people.

What these groups of people expect from the country and the society is the Social Security, Employment, Education facilities, Social Acceptance, Social Mobility, Vocational Trainings, Financial security in the form of old aged pensions and others. The life has already been rude to these groups of people, then why also the country and the society that needs to be more empathetic and compassionate towards them?
