For how long the crimes and harassment against the women be continued? Who will fight for their Freedom? Who will give them justice? Who? Perhaps we can only stare at each other's face and be dumb because we do not have any answer to give to all these questions. And if there is no answer then for how long women would tolerate this never ending chain of heinous crimes? Perhaps they themselves have to take the lead into their hands, and must discontinue this ongoing process of crimes, suppression and exploitations. It is very sad to know that whenever the women's section has raised their voice against any taboo or serious issue related to them, the politicians and the chauvinist of the society have always tried hard to dominate them and moreover tried to manipulate the situations. They have always framed the Indian women in the image of 'Sita' who had been helpless to revolt against the misdemeanor done by the Ravana and who kept waiting for her 'Ram' to be saved from that menace. They assert that the Indian women should continue to shut their mouth and silently bear all the violations and offenses. But these people have forgotten that there is a limit to everything. It is the high time for the Indian women to, come out of the frame of 'being helpless and delicate' and take up the charge into the hands. Sita was a symbol of patience and tolerance but the present scenario does not ask for any endurance anymore. Women equally deserve safety and freedom in the society, few bigots have no authority to dent and paint the true pathetic condition of the women.
