European Union has brought about a set of rules which say that Airlines need to pay for carbon emissions for to and fro from Non-EU nations. However, India, US China and many others are strongly opposing this proposal. According to the proposal, each aircraft using Airports within the EU's province must pay for each tonne of carbon dioxide emitted by it. Although the airliners say that this would increase the cost of traveling, the EU says that this would cause minimal affect on the travel fares. Do you think India should support it?
