Marriage is an important institutions of our Indian society as it tends to fulfill one of the most basic yet significant role for the people. Particularly for a girl; marriage is supposed to be one of the top most necessity of her life. We Indians firmly beleive that it is very important for a girl to get married at the right and in fact at an early age. Parent's tensions and anxieties get to raise high as soon as their daughter becomes 18 years old. They begin to search for a suitable match for her, begin to discuss with the relatives to look for a boy for their daughter. However in the modern times as the women are getting educated and advanced they are sort of refusing such bottom beliefs of the society but still it doesn't mean that they do not have to listen to their parent's unending allocution everyday. Is getting married the only prime destination for the girls in their life? Are they being brought up by their parents for this single day? Nevertheless, marriage of a girl is certainly a big responsibility for the parents and the family but this does not mean that the family completely ignores the "aspirations and dreams" of their daughters. There is a lot more to be explored and learn in the life for the girls as well, they want to become independent, they also want to pursue in their career of their own choices, then why to make them bind in the strings of early marriage so soon? Parents and family have to understand this thing that girls also have their own individuality that cannot be hide under the shed of societal patterns and old established ideologies.
