This is true for social media that it has surely given a new dimension to the mindsets of the people and especially to the youth. It has spread awareness, consciousness within an enormous mass of people. On the professional front, social media has given a platform to the people to exhibit their talent and specific thoughts and ideas. People can come up on the platform of social media and can very conveniently express and share their views. Youth is too much moved by the winds of social media these days, it has become a significant part of their lives although the purpose of their involvement, does vary. The youth has certainly become confident, alert and aware of many of the aspects, but how much social media has attracted them to increase their participation in the social and political process of the country? And has it really attracted the youth on these fronts? And if yes, has it failed in this task? Well, In my opinion social media has not failed to attract the youth participation on social and political fronts.

In the recent times we have seen that a huge number of youth had joined together and raised their voice on various important social and political menace/hyped events of the society, through the platform of social media. They very freely and enthusiastically expressed their aggression and passion for those issues. Their concern and consciousness in order to correct those issues was very much reflected through the medium of social media only. Social media are gradually increasing its reach and somewhere down the line I firmly believe through its medium the youth that who has been waiting to contribute and raise their voice for the social and political issues, have definitely got the most suitable platform. This has been my opinion, What is your opinion in this regard?
