as a common man of india, as a person who has read about the indian history only in books heard it in the tales from our grand parents, the best thing, as a human that we learn from indian history is that the politer and good you behave with others, the weaker they consider you. if we have a look at the different eras of indian history , different rulers and polticians from different nations have taken the wrong meaning of india's lineant approach towards them. so its very important to maintain a legacy and dignity and self respect of yours like jawahar lal nehru did while opting for non-alignment policy.
we have many things to learn from indian history. we have stories told by our grandparents which have lots of moral values and inspirational values to learn from. from the great valmiki to independence era of gandhi ji we have many historic heroes and their stories which tells us things of great values.
There are many things to learn from Indian history.. I am just proud to have such a diversity in the culture.. you will find people following the same culture and tradition around the world.. but India is the only country where people follow different cultures and tradition..
there is lot to learn from indian history which is full of colorful events and wars. ironically, the history is so vast that not many know about even half of it correctly. foreigners come to india to learn the rich history india possess, but we indians do not take time to learn a bit of it. the cultural, moral values given by our indian history is of utmost importance.
