The debate over this issue took a pace especially after Salman Khan’s hit and run case and Sanjay Dutt’s possession of illegal ammunitions. Not only film stars but any person with power, money and the right connections can get away with crimes in India which is quite contrasting to the conditions of the ordinary; worst hit being the poor. However, why blame the justice system for everything when we ourselves fail to act wisely on such matters. A celebrity, however and whatsoever contributions he may have done in the past doesn't justify his crime but we are so blinded by our own sense of affinity towards them that we tend to overlook their offenses.
