Today young educated Indians are working in multi-national companies and at higher ranks where they get to work in a Team with various people coming from different backgrounds, race, ethnicity, cultural differences, speak different languages and organization. Some people tend to feel that such a diversity creates disharmony and less cooperation among the team members but in reality these social and cultural diversity only, helps the individual to 'raise the awareness' for such difference among the team members. This diversity enables the person to 'respect' the differences and to 'understand' the different attitudes, experiences, preferences and most importantly different ideologies and thoughts. This diversity only, makes the learning process truly enriching for the members. It 'encourages' the team members to adapt a new way of thinking and acting in the situations that is quite nearer to creativity and innovation in the strategic planning. When diversified thoughts are brought together, they give rise to a finer and abstract thought/plan. And overall, working with people who belong to diverse cultures, ethnic groups, color and race is itself a broad process of knowing and understanding new people and new patterns. Thus this diversity would only enable innovation and improvement and not the vice versa.
