Decadal growth rates

    The percentage of decadal growth rates of the six most populous States of India have declined during the 2001-2011 compared to 1991-2001. Madhya Pradesh - 24.26% to 20.30%. Andhra Pradesh – 14.59% to 11.10%. Uttar Pradesh – 25.85% to 20.09%. West Bengal – 17.77% to 13.93%. Bihar – 28.62% to 25.07%. Maharashtra – 22.73% to 13.93%.

    Well, these are the states with little or growth in India. The decline in growth is definitely a worrying fact because we have improved in our economy and yet we have decline in growth. Uttar pradesh and Bihar are the worst hit states with growth being always the lowest (inspite of huge amounts of funds being allocated to promote growth). What can be done? share your views!
