In Indian cultural most of the things that we follow are coming down through generation since uncountable years, and people are following it blindly without really knowing the reason behind doing so. Will it be right to call this as our culture, when we even fail to explain people of other nation about it? Often it is also noted that people follow the tradition and even force it on their younger generation to follow it. Should this be call as cultural education or merely a cultural imposition?
Vedas have every answer Indian Culture has its base in the world renowned Vedas. They are vast and compromise of thousands of facts, which were considered illogical at one time but today even science has verified many of those facts and I am sure, with time to come science will reach that level to verify other facts also.Indian culture has everything in it to enrich the world.
in my view it is cultural education rather than imposition because to the young minds linger and go astray towards things which are more attractive and luring rather than knowing they are right or wrong. but our elders do know that and so they have to force us to learn our cultures because we are stubborn to learn it. but we realise it later that it was the right thing we did choosing our culture.
Indian culture is rich in values and beliefs and people have been following it since time unknown. It teaches us to respect our elders and love our fellow beings. It is never an imposition rather it is education. It is important for every children to know their rich culture and to teach them, the parents at times impose certain things but that is for cultural education. The value of family system, love and brotherhood are taught by our culture and even people from the West are now getting attracted towards our culture for these values.
