Criticism Or Constructive Criticism?

    Sometimes parents (especially perfectionists) are very critical of their children. They pinpoint every little fault they can think of. This might appear as concern to look at but here is what happens:

    .Children suffer from a low self-esteem despite their abilities.

    .Children learn to not to accept themselves the way they are.

    .Their self-belief suffers and they start thinking that something is "WRONG WITH ME."

    .Their inter-personal relationships' skills suffer as they always think less of themselves.

    If at all parents want to improve their child in some way, it should be done politely and in a constructive way!
