In the recent few years of India, there is a rapid increase in the inhuman activities practiced against younger children. Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana, Rajasthan is among the states that have a high number of cases of rapes, kidnapping and abduction, and procuration of young girls. But why the crimes against juveniles are increasing with a faster rate ? Apparently a study done upon few criminals might be of some help to understand the reasons of this question. Few criminals were interviewed about the features and situations they look for, when they are about to commit any crime. Most of them conveyed that they basically look for young children and even the younger ones because a child is innocent and rarely have the courage and bravery to oppose and defend. Thus the young children can easily be harassed and assaulted for satisfying the outrageous impulses. Young children are easily approachable. In the past two years crimes against juveniles has suddenly caught the pace; kidnapping, rapes, murders, molestation, trafficking, pornography, foeticide, selling and buying of young children are such popular criminal activities. Major cases of rapes, assault and harassment are noted against young girls.
