Indian police needs to do promote security and safety, but not violence and fear among the people of the country. There have been many a cases where the cops were found to apply too much of the violence of the people in order to stop late night unauthorized parties and gatherings. Recently the case of foreigner tourist those were celebrating valentine's day in Uttar Kannada district at Gokarna near kudle beach; were brutally beaten by the cops who were suddenly attempted to stop the party. Those tourists were brutally attacked and cops became too much violent. This is not a very new case there already had been many instances where the cops unnecessarily created much of a havoc of event as justifying it to be completely illegal and profane event and activity. Agreed! That use of drugs should be totally opposed, but using the violence is just not justified and above all beating the foreigner tourists is just so negative thing that certainly leaves a negative impact on the minds of the tourist and might constraint other tourist from visiting India where they do not feel safe and free to enjoy and celebrate any event. Power and authority should be show ethically, beating the people is itself an unethical act the cops intentionally follow and later no try to justify in by claiming their act to be a provoked act.
