Egypt is witnessing a progressive crisis in terms of its governance. Thousands of protestors recently gathered to voice their will against the rule of President Mohammed Morsy and his draft constitution which was made by his Islamist allies. If the new constitution is passed, there would be a heavy state of unrest in the country and the aftermath could be drastic. The new constitution is more conservative and limits the liberty of people and activists. It would therefore not only become difficult to voice a view but the consequences could be threatening. Any more insights into this?
