On one hand government has reduced PPF interest rates over the years, but despite huge inflation and rising salaries they have failed to compensate in the maximum investment limit in PPF deposit which still is stuck at 70000 for last several years. The exemption of Total Rs 1.0 lac only, is much under an appropriate rebate in section 80C.It should have been increased to Rs 1.5 lacs.It seems Manmohan,Pranab and Montek are blind to figures or their brain is not functioning with required alertness and speed. The fuel hike was wholly unnecessary and uncalled for as international prices of crude are almost 60 % of what were when prices were jacked up in India. The manner in which congress is doing one illogical thing after another points to the rampant arrogance and insensitivity to governance. It also shows congress is a big failure in understanding economics. It is time congress is kicked out from power from every place.Till they keep coming to power, the situation of common man and country will go worse. The budget is total flop as it offers no innovation and fresh thinking but only repeats beaten track and is highly inflationary despite already huge price rise occurred in last 7 years.Government is out on spending spree on politicians and babus themselves and their comforts.Huge money is being wasted in ill managed schemes like NREGA. People of India should protest and rise against congress. We should educate the illiterate masses who give votes to such parties.
The unachieved goals The various budgets have gone on to set goals that are never achieved. There has been a huge budget deficit and it is being reimbursed by the price rises. The government has been a failure and has not been able to achieve anything t5hat it had proposed as its election agenda. Fiery speeches just won’t do…it’s time to prove your work. Buck up guys.
congress have proved itself as a weak government though it had passed many budgets and policies. the money eventually have been eaten up by the corrupt politicians and the amount remaining deficit is being compensated again through the public in terms of price rise. i think government must realise that people are no more blind against its Hippocratic actions
cogress has consecutively failed to prove itself in all the areas. be it the economy, the political issues, the judicial issues concerning scams and many more. the budgets passed by the government are not good.. mukherjee himself admitted this after the budget session. congress is proving itself to be a lame and lazy government making decisions hastily plus the ministers in this gov are most corrupt
Yes i think it is time people should recognize the failures of congress party. It is unfortunate that these party men manipulate the minds of rural people because they are ignorant of real facts. Someone must come up and educate these rural masses of the atrocities this government is posing upon us. Only then we can get rid of such parties which are incompetent but still manage to come into power.
Congress cannot make a good government as it has not done any thing which brings a change in the country except the price rise that increases the problem of the common people in return. Though congress has launched many policies and introduced several budget system after making changes but none of them are of any use. everything goes waste in vain. Its hypocrisy is indeed the main reason of its budget failure.
Deficit of Budget is the main issue. Deficit is when the expenditure goes beyond what the treasury can handle. Among developing countries, India has maximum budget deficit. Due to this, investment in various sectors is suffering to great extent. The problem of budget is not poping up now but it has been there since long. the hypocrisy of congress is the most common instance that affected the budget and its failure.
Lack of infrastructure investment is the main issue. Due to Budget deficit, physical and social infrastructure investment has taken a back seat. On the other hand, Government is supporting proliferation of hotels, companies, and consumer goods industries.
Congress has consistently proved itself a failure in terms of budgeting and allocating the funds. Even the huge funds are inappropriately used. Public money is being wasted in terms of various plans and schemes which do not reach out to the needy people but fill the pockets of corrupt people. Indian government must allocated budget to education and agriculture which have good amount of potential to do well if funded well.
