India is facing a steep price rise in essential commodities which includes the food, oil and groceries. People are facing hard times due to the price rise and the government seems to be reluctant to fight on this issue. Though the opposition has brought this issue into limelight in the parliament, the government has done nothing to resolve this issue.

The problem lies with congress conceding to the fact that it is doing minimal in fighting the price rise issue. Mr. Montek singh and finance minister get away by saying that price rise is ought to happen due to high growth of Indian Economy. We seriously need to look over this issue collectively without playing any politics! What do you say?

Price rise has become a major issue of concern. Hike in the price of petrol leads to price rise of other commodities that are essential in day to day life. Congress, which is the ruling party indeed lacks the political will to fight price rise. They are not concerned about the problems faced by the common people and even after opposition has raised the issue in the lower house, they still seems to be disinterested. It has now become important on the part of the government to revive the economic policies and make the budget that is beneficial for very section of the society.

It is very true that Congress lacks political will to fight price rise. The high inflation and fiscal deficit is creating price rise, however, this can be controlled by the Government by reforming the economic policies. The constant price rise in recent years has proved that Congress lacks political will and is not concerned about the common people and the problems they are facing due to price rise.
