Confessions of a Listmaniac-The life and Times of Layla the Ordinary by Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan is the story of a seventeen-year-old Layla, who knows that journal writing is way retro but thinks, about recreating the whole blog thing in a notebook. Layla’s journal entries often morph into unusual lists that record her observations on her life and times. Light, confessional and filled with clever teenage anxiety, Layla’s observations on her family and friends provide an explanation on the lives of metropolitan teenagers and the way they think and function. This is a very interesting book by the author and I loved reading it from the first till the end.
